How it started
The idea came from YouTube.
If you've searched the internet for a small, light truck camper, you've probably watched a video from Endgame Campers on YouTube.
Here was a small truck camper, designed and built from scratch, that fit the way you actually want to use a pickup for weekend camping. Throw it on Friday, head into the desert or the mountains, come back Sunday night. Take it off. Drive your truck to work on Monday.
It's simple. It's easy. And what caught our eye the most — the campers looked like they belonged on the truck. Most manufactured truck campers look like they were designed in isolation. Endgame Campers built theirs to fit the truck visually and functionally.
The more we looked at the market, the more we realized what was missing.
Big truck campers require 3/4 to one-ton pickups and are hard to connect and set up. Camper vans are great but cost $150k.

So we started Sage RV to fill that gap.

Nothing beats experience or using your own product. Our founder, Matt Miller, spent 30 years in the RV industry and retired as president of a large motorhome manufacturer in Nappanee, Indiana.
Sage RV is the result of decades of camping and decades of building high-end RVs.
Every camper we build gets put through real-world use before we approve it for production. Our family and team go on weekend getaways in the mountains, hunting trips, and fishing trips. The same kind of trips you'd take.
