First prototype

Your new weekend camper is almost ready.

This is our first prototype. Real photos, not renderings. One just like it will be at dealers by the end of the year.

  1. The idea

    A better camper for the truck you already own

    Our founder, Matt Miller, looked into buying a camper van but couldn't justify the cost for a few weekends a year when he already had a pickup. Then he found Endgame Campers on YouTube: a small, light truck camper that looked like it belonged on the truck. That's the gap Sage RV set out to fill.

  2. Summer 2025

    Designing it from the truck up

    We started designing a truck camper that fits a half-ton and looks like it belongs there.

  3. Early 2026

    The first carbon fiber shell

    The lightweight carbon fiber shell went from drawings to the real thing.

  4. August 2026

    First complete prototype, built and tested

    On the standard battery, it ran 2 days with the AC on nonstop.

  5. October–December 2026

    First campers delivered to dealers

    Our first campers ship to select dealers before the end of the year.

  6. January 2027

    Full production begins

    We start building campers week after week, so more families can get on the road.
